SEEDS Iceland, in partnership with Psientífica, a Portuguese NGO, will be organising a free Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training.
In this training, the psychologists and youth workers at Psientífica will present prevention and coping strategies for dealing with different types of stress resulting from various types of trauma, as well as develop a personal understanding of the effects of stress, loss, trauma and grief, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection.
The training will start at 10:30 and it will be open to all to attend. At 13:30 a small refreshment will be offered, and the activity will end at 14:00.
This event is part of larger Mental Health Awareness project financed by Erasmus+ Rannsóknamiðstöð Íslands RANNÍS.
