In these hard times lets get together and make sure the most unprotected get the most basic foods and work together to achieve what the powers that be cannot and/or don’t want to.
There is also a free shop for clothes and other items.
Food donations and volunteers are always appreciated!
Accessibility: The supermarket is outside in the garden if the weather is good. There is a small step at the gate to come in. Otherwise it’s inside with some more steps in front of the house.

There’s no need to buy incense sticks, white sage or palo santo shipped from abroad when you can learn to make your own natural incense from wild plants growing in your neighbourhood or from ingredients you are likely to have in your kitchen (like cinnamon powder).
During the workshop, I will introduce the most common wild plants growing in Reykjavik and afterwards, we are going to make incense bundle compositions out of them. In the second part of the workshop, we are going to make incense cones from plant-based powders and essential oils.
I hope that the workshop is going to inspire you to pay closer attention to your surroundings and become more aware of the plants and other species you encounter in your daily life, as well as to engage with them through your senses. I will give you some tips on how to incorporate wild plants into your everyday rituals in a respectful and creative manner.
Come to enjoy an evening in a relaxing atmosphere and meet some people who share your interests.
Donations for the ingredients and the work I put into running the event are most welcome 🙂 (suggested 2500kr)
