Struggle for family reunification continues, after the tents were taken down by the Reyjavik city officials request. The temporary shelter, snow fort on the corner of the square, which don’t protect protestors from cold temperatures and snowfall still carries the spirit of the initial movement. Everyday people stay at the provisory shelter showing solidarity and giving visibility to the message from Palestinian Community.
Talking to people from different cultures can be tricky. Sometimes, we don’t understand each other because of language differences or different ways we express ourselves without words. Our cultures affect how we talk and share information. Stereotypes can also get in the way. In this workshop day, hosted by SEEDS Iceland long term volunteers, we learn about different cultures, listen carefully, and be open to new ways of communicating.
