Come over if you would like to learn how to support other people in the space, react to conflicts, get to know more about the work in our solidarity teams during bigger events or better understand why we have created the space. If you already use the space, either organising within/with your group, either as a participant, you are even more encourage to get to know how to support other participants in the space and provide a safer space for all.

The HÁTÍÐNI organizing team is having a meeting and is leaving it public for those who might be interested in joining this years festival so we can create a wonderful volunteer team! we are for example looking for more members in the safe space team as well as in the cooking team. feel free to come and spread the word;)
This is both a lecture and a workshop. The lecture aims to give a historical background to the establishment of Neo-Nazi organisations in Iceland. In the workshop we will exploring how we keep ourselves and others safe in the face of Fascist activities.
N.B./ATH: The IWW union will be holding a private meeting in the protest room (entrance level) at the same time as this event. Please ensure that you do not disturb this meeting while entering Andrými and making your way upstairs. Depending on numbers we may decide to hold the workshop part downstairs once the meeting has concluded.
We want to create a space for fungi enthusiasts to meet and discuss their favorite topic. We will have a temporary library to browse and talk about mushroom farming, fungi and forestry, mushrooms as medicine, home growing equipment and whatever else comes up.

In this workshop we will learn together on how to:
– make plant-based milks and cookie recipes from the food scraps.
– make chemical-free body scrubs from coffee scraps.
We will learn about the impact that animal milk has on the environment and present some eco-friendly alternatives that everyone can prepare at home.
We will address issues such as food waste, recycling and reusing resources in the kitchen.
