Curious about rope? Join us for a hands-on, beginner-friendly introduction to the art of shibari—a practice that’s about much more than just tying knots. This workshop explores rope as a form of connection, creativity, and communication, with a strong focus on safety, consent, and technique.
What we’ll cover:
• Why rope? The magic of shibari and why it’s more than just a fancy alternative to handcuffs
• Safety first: Physical and emotional well-being in rope play
• Rope 101: Basic knots and how to use them
Expect a warm, inclusive space where all bodies, identities, and experience levels are welcome. Whether you’re flying solo or attending with a partner, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for rope as both an art form and a tool for connection.
What to bring:
Comfortable clothing that allows movement.
Bring 1–2 ropes if you have them—if not, we’ll have some to share.
A support group for kinksters and BDSM-oriented individuals, with special focus on female identifying, non-binary and queer people. Please note that this is not group therapy, but a safe and respectful space to talk about kink-related experiences, issues, and dilemmas.
