Slagtog, a collective of people who practice feminist self-defence, is hosting a movie projection the 8th of march, the international women’s day. The movie shown is Virginie Depentes’ “Mutantes (Punk Porno Feminism)”, a documentary about what has been called by some sex-positive feminism. One reason for the choice of this movie is the excessive amount of anti-sex work discourse we hear in the Icelandic feminist circles.
After the movie we will share some reading and have discussions.
Discussion on how to perform in the media. Let’s share tips and experiences and do some exercises to prepare for answering questions and getting our message across when speaking to the media. Hosted by Eyrún and Svala.
