Join our introduction meeting to a project OVERSEAS : artistic education without borders.
Is it a series of creative workshops, taking place in Reykjavik, where we will explore various ways of creating collectively and sharing with the public.
PROJECT TIME FRAME:
Weekly workshops between May and December 2024, possibly extended to January 2025.
Workshop days and hours will be decided collectively.

PARTICIPATION:
OVERSEAS is aimed at people from foreign backgrounds of any age, gender identity, religion, race, political stand, language

On wednesday evening we will have a cook out of wild foods and we will share it with everyone: vegan, vegetarian, omnitarian, keto.
Come and enjoy an atmosphere of joy and companionship, and share the love of giving and eating together.
Come with a plate to share or grab a plate of something!
Sugested minimum donations of 500kr, feel welcome to donate as you like to keep this project up. All welcome.

Á miðvikudagskvöldið munum við halda matveislu og við munum deila henni með alla: vegan, vegetarisk, omni, keto… allt er til.
Komdu og njóttu samfélagslegs andloft og gleði að deila og borða saman.
Komdu með eitthvað að deila eða bara fáðu disk af mat.
Tillaga að lágmark framlag: 500 isk, endilega gefðu hvað þú vilt til að styðja næsta opið eldhús. Allir velkomnir.

Ef þú hefur áhuga á að hjálpa við að divea og hirða matframlög, eða að hjálpa við matargerð, endilega láttu okkur vita, hér sendu skilaboð til 793 1350.
Á fundinum er farið yfir vinnuhópa, fólk getur tekið að sér verkefni, rætt mikilvæg málefni og séð önnur andlit sem tengjast Andrými. Dagskrá fundarins má sjá fyrir neðan.
Þetta er fullkominn tími fyrir nýja og forvitna aðila til að koma og hitta fólk og læra meira um Andrými!

We hold a monthly assembly to update each other about our work, redistribute tasks, share feedback and drink coffee together.
This is the perfect time for new and curious people to come meet people and learn more about Andrými!

-Updates: working groups say what has been done, what is being worked on, future plans
-Redistributing tasks, finding new bottomliners

Accessibility:
There is a step before the garden gate and then 5 steps leading to the main entrance, each 17 cm high, door widths in the building vary between 50 cm (upstairs washroom door) and 80 cm (entrance door).
The bathrooms are so far only on the upper floor and in the basement. The door to the meeting room is 75 cm wide (as most other doors in the building). There is no bathroom on the ground floor.
Both washrooms in the building are gender neutral. The event takes place on the ground floor.
