Dinner & Red Table Talk!

13 December, 2025

Event Concept: Revamp of the late Radical Kitchen – Dinner & Red Table Talk!

OVERVIEW:
Radical Kitchen: Dinner & Red Table Talk! is an interactive community gathering that combines shared dining with open, transformative dialogue. The event is designed to create a brave space where participants can connect over a meal, exchange perspectives, and engage in honest conversations about social justice, identity, healing, and collective liberation.

PURPOSE:
The goal of the event is to use food as a vehicle for connection and conversation. By blending the intimacy of a shared dinner with the openness of a "Red Table Talk" format, Radical Kitchen fosters empathy, understanding, and radical imagination for social change.

CORE ELEMENTS:
Community Dinner: A locally sourced, inclusive meal that brings participants together around a communal table.

Guided Dialogue: Facilitated "Red Table Talk" sessions encouraging vulnerability, truth-telling, and deep listening.

Creative Expression: Optional inclusion of storytelling, art, or performance to ground the discussion in lived experience.

Reflection & Action: A closing circle or takeaway moment to inspire ongoing community engagement beyond the event.

Koha / Spiritual Donation:
To help cover the cost of the venue and purchase ingredients for the shared meal, we invite participants to offer a koha (spiritual donation) from 500kr +. This contribution supports the collective effort of sustaining Radical Kitchen as a space for nourishment, dialogue, and radical community care.

Intended Impact:
Participants leave nourished — physically, emotionally, and intellectually — with a deeper sense of belonging and commitment to collective transformation. The Radical Kitchen experience aims to model how radical hospitality and open dialogue can catalyse social change from the ground up.
