Kósy rave 4 refugees

INDEPENDENTLY ORGANISED EVENT.

It is 10 years and 11 months since Haukur Hilmarsson and Jason Slade ran on the runway trying to stop the deportation of Paul Ramses. It was the spark that started the movement and this year the fire lit up again as the Refugees in Iceland took to Austurvöllur and started a week long occupation amidst the blazing snow – fighting for recognition as human beings.

It has been 4 months of actions now and despite the Immigration Office deporting the people involved – the struggle doesn´t stop!

This Friday No Borders Iceland will organise another rave/party to support the case of refugees fighting for human treatment, dignity and normal life on the island. Come, dance around, chill in the vegetable garden and support a good cause!

We will have DJs, refreshments, food, good vibes. Everyone welcome!
